So, out of the many learning opportunities from 2018 one glaringly obvious one was learning that yours truly is horrible at blogging. BUT thankfully people change and so can I. No, this is not a New Years resolution (only because those never seem to stick).

No, this is simply me pledging to be more intentional here. Here on this little piece of the Internet I call my own.

In honor of my trip to Hawaii (Aloha from Maui!!), and my first post in this fabulous year of 2019, I figured it only appropriate to share this styled shoot from the white shores of Florida.

This girl.

These clothes.

This beach.

This set.

These waves.

All of it was fabulous.

So fabulous that I had to break it up into two posts.

The idea behind this was simply a couple questions in a conversation between me and a friend.  Photographer Amanda Koolis (From the Exquisite Sessions) and I were talking one day and started dreaming,  “What would happen if we brought a the bed to the beach? What would happen if we combined the beauty and luxury of a styled boudoir shoot with the breathtaking landscape of the emerald coast?”

The result? Well, just keep scrolling.

Darcy from Sirens at the Beach generously provided these high end pieces. Her store carries nothing but the best that lingerie brands and every piece is a one of a kind. She also carries sizes for all body shapes (where my busty girls at?!? Trust me, if I can find bra & swimsuit tops that will fit so can you).

If you’re done with the mass produced lingerie and common swim suit then you will for sure want to head to her shop for a one of kind boutique experience.

When shoots like this come together you an be certain there is a team of hard working artists in the background; hair and makeup artists, stylists, designers, planners, friends, and husbands (who were forced to help but do so with a smile). This shoot was no different.
